What is the difference
between the 4 volumes? Each volume is the result of continued
research, thereby adding on to each other to create an expanded
reference source. If you are looking for an older boat, it might
be in any one of the
4 volumes (see online Table of Contents).
If you are looking for a newer boat, keep in mind that any boat
introduced after 1991 cannot be in Vol. I as that was the publishing
date; accordingly, no model introduced after '94 or '98 can be
in Vol. II or III respectively.
Why don't you update the entire set to group Volumes by years covered?
There are several reasons we don't do this. First, to do so would require our long-time customers to buy the entire set each time we add new boats, rather than just being able to acquire the new additions. Second, an enormous amount of time and money would be required to change the layouts of the books and we wouldn't be producing any new, valuable information. Third, each time we wanted to add a new volume we would be required to go back through all of the previous volumes and change the layouts again.
Why is my boat not in the Guide?
There are literally thousands of sailboat models and it would be virtually impossible to include each of them. Boats are included based on the likelihood that they will be on the used or new boat market in the US. If a boat is not included, this should not be perceived as a negative statement; it might be that we just didn't have the appropriate information to include it.
How much do the books cost? A
single volume is $35.95 + $6 shipping & handling. The 4-volume
set of Volumes I, II, III & IV is $132.75 + $12.95 shipping
and handling.
How are the books shipped and how
long should I allow for delivery? Allow 2-3 weeks for shipping
& delivery of domestic orders, 5-10 days for Priority Mail domestic
orders. Priority Mail is an additional $2 per book.
Are there any multihulls in the Guide? No, there are no multihulls included.
What lengths are covered in the Guide? Boats included range from 20' to over 86'. For specific models, see our online Table of Contents.
Do you sell boats? No, we don't broker boats any more; the books keep us too busy!
What types of payment do you accept?

are prepaid. Credit card orders may be placed via our secure online
